The 300 SL was a pretty exclusive car at the time, with just a few thousand built between 1958 and 1965. It was the sort of car that you saw more on European roads than British. This model was the height of precision engineering and took part in various Grand Prix. It also came with extras that added substantially to the initial asking price of just over $6,000.
