White’s Bodyworks have been giving Brighton’s classic cars and motorcycles a new lease of life for the last 20 years. If you want a group of guys who really care about your car as much as you do, then you don’t need to look much further.
If you have seen a classic car rumbling along the Brighton sea front then chances are that Phil and the team have done some work on it at one time or another. From Jaguars and VW Beetles to Daimlers and Mercedes, there is no job too big or too small. We’ve even been working on the odd solid gold classic car restoration as well in recent times including an Isetta Bubble car and a Riley One-Point-Five.
Based in Hassocks, West Sussex, not far from the blue rolling shores of Brighton, we’re the experts when it comes to classic car restoration. We promise high quality at a price you can afford – it won’t cost you an arm and a leg and you’ll be amazed at the results.
Brighton and the Classic Car Run
If you want to see why people go wild about old cars and motorcycles then there’s no better way to find out than take a look at the London to Brighton Vintage Car Run that takes place every year. It’s the longest running celebration of the humble motor car and attracts hundreds of cars each year and plenty of well-known faces.
You’ll see cars from every decade and makes from nearly every famous manufacturer as well as some you’ve never heard of. Last year there was even the restored 6.5 litre Napier that won the Innsbruck to Paris car race in 1902.
Making their way from London along the A23, these classic cars take a leisurely drive to Brighton’s Victorian Pier, a distance of about 54 miles, where they park up making one of the more glorious sights you’ll ever see in Brighton.
The Best in Classic Car Restoration
You’ve all seen the old wreck sitting in some junk yard or garage somewhere, slowly turning to rust. What you might not realise is that with the right expertise, the right care and attention, that once proud car can be restored and once again take to the Brighton roads.
There aren’t many with the expertise to do something like that. Phil and his team are perhaps among the select few in the country. That’s why White’s Bodywork have a national reputation for classic car restoration and we’ve got the pictures to prove it.
Take a look at this Isetta Bubble Car that came to us this year and see how much work is involved in making it look and work as good as new. http://www.whitesbodyworks.com/portfolio/isetta-bubble-car-huge-restoration-job/
And what about the Riley One-Point-Five? This vintage car from the 1950s is going to need a lot of care and attention, refabricating the A pillars and renewing the wings to name just a few things that need to be done to return this classic to its former glory. http://www.whitesbodyworks.com/portfolio/riley-one-point-five-restoration-will-finish-style/
At White’s Bodyworks we’ve probably seen every type of bodywork problem there is to see, from dented side panels to the dilapidated classic car in need of a full Brighton style restoration. We do our work at an affordable price and quicker than you would think (though classic car restoration may well take a little longer!).
As Jamie Alvarez said after we restored his car: “Whites completed a full restoration of my E-type Jaguar at an incredibly reasonable cost and within a surprising time frame.”
